Quark Forge
A glowing physics puzzle game for Android.
Drop pairs of glass quark orbs, connect three or more of a colour to pop them, and watch the chamber cascade into chain reactions. Every chain step multiplies your score, big groups forge powerful specials, and every new mechanic is a real idea from particle physics.

How it plays
Each level is a chamber with crates in it. Pop a colour right next to a crate to light it; light every mark on it and it breaks. Break them all and the level is clear. Pairs keep falling faster the further you go.
- Touch Drag to slide, tap to rotate, swipe down to drop. No clutter of buttons.
- Chains Orbs that fall into new groups pop again, and every chain step multiplies the score.
- Forge Pops fill the Forge meter to earn boosters for tricky spots.
- Levels 80 levels across eight worlds, then an endless Deep Field.
- Daily A new chamber every day, with a streak to keep alive.
- Colour Colour-blind friendly: every colour has its own crystal shape.
- Offline Plays anywhere. Free, with an optional one-time purchase to remove ads.
The physics behind it
Quark Forge isn't a lesson, but none of it is made up. Each mechanic borrows a real idea from particle physics, and the game tells you which one when it arrives.
-
Colour charge
Connect three or more of one colour to pop them.
Quarks really do carry a “colour charge”. It’s the property the strong force acts on.
-
Charged orbs
Pop exactly four and a charged orb is left behind. Pop it later and it blasts everything around it.
An excited state holds extra energy and releases it all at once when it decays.
-
Gluons
Pop five or more and a rainbow gluon appears. It joins any group, and takes every orb of that colour with it.
Gluons carry the strong force between quarks. They’re what holds protons together.
-
W orbs
A W orb recolours every orb it touches to its own colour. Drop it between mismatched orbs to build instant groups.
The weak force is the only force that can change a quark’s flavour, turning one kind of quark into another.
-
Quark-gluon plasma
Chains charge the plasma meter. When it fills, the next drops go white-hot and pop everything they touch.
For a few microseconds after the Big Bang, the whole universe was a quark-gluon plasma.
-
Unstable crates
A countdown ticks with every drop. Break the crate in time or it decays into stones.
Unstable particles like muons live only a tiny fraction of a second before they decay.
-
Antimatter
Dark anti-orbs never match. Pop their own colour next to them and they annihilate in a blast.
When matter meets its antimatter twin, both annihilate into pure energy.
-
Gluon strings
Some orbs are bound by a glowing string. Pop one and its partner pops too, wherever it is.
Quarks are never found alone: pull two apart and the string between them just makes new quarks.
-
Neutrino beam
Pop six or more at once and a beam fires straight through the column, clearing everything in it.
Neutrinos barely interact with matter: trillions pass straight through you every second.
-
Baryon crates
These need red, green and blue popped beside them. Only a colour-neutral trio breaks them.
Protons and neutrons are baryons: three quarks whose colours cancel out to white.
-
Higgs field
Inside a glowing field, orbs gain mass and stick where they land. Pop anything inside it to let everything fall.
Elementary particles get their mass from the Higgs field: the more they interact with it, the heavier they are.

In one paragraph
Quark Forge is a glowing falling-pair puzzle game for Android. Players drop pairs of glass quark orbs, pop groups of three or more, and trigger chain reactions to break the crates in each chamber. Its mechanics come from real particle physics — colour charge, gluons, antimatter, the weak force, quark-gluon plasma and the Higgs field — each introduced with the science behind it. Eighty levels across eight worlds, an endless mode and a Daily Challenge.
